Found the BEST einspanner that tasted exactly like the ones I had in Seoul! This viral korean cafe instantly transported me back to Korea… tucked away in a Chicago suburb. Cafe Blessing opened in Schaumburg earlier this year and has already blown up. I stopped by on my recent trip and can confirm it’s worth the hype! From the scones and drinks to the interior, every little detail reminded me of the cafes I visited in Korea. I do agree with a lot of the reviews that the scones are on the drier, more crumbly side, but I still really enjoyed them. The whipped cream makes a huge difference, and the savory ones tasted so much better after warming them up. Pro tip: get there 10 minutes before opening (or right when they open). The line is out the door on weekends! ＊Cream Top Latte $8 ** MUST GET! The cream-to-coffee ratio was perfect. I was literally sipping that cream until the very last drop. So creamy, but not too heavy or overly sweet. ＊Garlic Butter $5 * I’m a savory breakfast person, so this garlic butter scone was easily my top pick. I also loved that the garlic wasn’t nearly as strong as a korean cream cheese garlic bun. I didn’t even need a breath mint after lol. ＊Black Se

Really enjoyed their versions of sweet and savory scones. The menu seems asian inspired especially with the subtley sweet corn offering. Have been esting sweet corn in many desserts such as halo-halo since childhood!! This is no different and is a sleeper to “american” palates. Their cheese scone had a subdued saltiness and savory flavor. Perfect with a warm cup of coffee. The place has modern look and appealing to the eye. Staff and team make the placing inviting to stay and enjoy their offerings.

I really enjoyed my visit to Cafe Blessing Coffee ☕ Such a cozy and welcoming place with a calm atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had a latte, matcha, and tried their scones along with the signature Ube Ube drink 💜 Everything was beautifully presented and felt thoughtfully made. A lovely spot to relax, enjoy good coffee, and spend some slow time. I’ll definitely come back again 🫶

The owner is so amazing! His attention to detail is impeccable. The flavors were divine! The matcha was sooo delicious and coffee I downed in seconds just so delicious it kept me wanting more! The scones were so buttery and flaky and the cream on top just perfect not over powering or too sweet either, perfectly balanced. I drove 50mins and will continue to do so that’s how delicious this place is!

This cafe is so clean and cozy! Honestly I’m originally from South Korea and I’ve been to so many cafes, but this place feels like a high-end Korean cafe brought straight here. The staff and manager were incredibly nice, and the food was amazing. The whole place is well organized, and even the cutlery was spotless. I tried the peanut latte this time, but I’m definitely getting a matcha drink next. Also the scone..!!!! The cream on top was just the right amount of sweet, and the pairing with the slightly salty scone was absolutely perfect... I could probably eat three in one sitting😭 Usually I feel like cafe desserts are overpriced for what they are, but these scones are worth every penny. Had a great time with my friend and even grabbed some extra scones for my coworkers! I really want everyone to know about this place 👍
